Hello friends and new pARTakers, and welcome! I’m excited and a little anxious about this letter today. I’ve written about having an art sale event in previous letters. So many times. So much ambition! Hah! And yet, sometimes my ego gets in the way of doing what I must do. Like you, I don’t like rejection. Strangely, I’m okay with failure more than rejection. Are they the same thing? Maybe. Perhaps that’s a letter for another day. Today, I’m bringing you a pARTake art sale event. This is an unconventional way to sell art and I may not have all my i’s dotted or t’s crossed, so bear with me. I have the art listed with the relevant information to make it easy for you to purchase a piece of art here.
I hope this message finds you and your families safe and sound. Thank you so much for being here with me on pARTake. Living a creative life can be pretty lonely, and your comments and shares, and yes, even when you tap the heart, make me feel less alone. So please don’t hold back. And by all means, don’t hesitate to reply to this letter to send a private message, and consider buying a piece of original watercolor art for yourself or someone you love. Of everything we need in the world, joy is at the top.
Note: I am proficient at many things, but some of my art photographs are not necessarily appropriately lit. If you’d like to see more images of a particular piece, let’s set up a call or text me.

The most important question you’ll ask yourself when looking at this art is: Why should I buy art from Maureen? The most important question I ask myself when setting up this art sale is: How can I make buying my art easy for you?
I can’t answer the first question since buying art is subjective, but I can address the second. Keep reading to learn how to buy art from this issue of pARTake (and to see the art!) ;)

How to Easily Buy Art on pARTake
Select a piece of art that speaks to you. Then, please reply to this message to purchase, scan my Venmo code below, or email to Zelle and tag the purchase with the title of your piece. I’ll respond and give you shipping details, and we can discuss, if you like, where to place your art in your home. I’ll closely monitor this post, my email, and my Venmo/Zelle since all pieces for sale are original watercolors—no prints.
Each photo of the art is captioned with the specifics of the piece: Title, medium, dimensions, price, and any other things I think you’ll want to know.
All watercolor art is created on archival, acid-free paper to ensure durability. It is kept in a plastic sleeve, which isn’t ideal, but I’m unaware of any other way to protect it from dust and debris.
Some art is matted and framed, as you’ll see, ready to hang with museum glass (no glare), and these details will be noted in the captions. (See the caption in the giraffes’ art “SMITTEN” above for what the backs of all framed art look like.) Since I only use one frame shop, all pieces, if indicated, are back-covered and wire-hung in this manner. Some art pieces are matted only. Art that isn’t matted or framed is typically sized for standard store-bought frames.
You assume shipping and handling. All art is shipped flat in a box and protected in bubble wrap via UPS in the US. I can give a ballpark estimate. Prices vary by size and weight. I can ship multiple pieces in one box.
Payment: I take Venmo (scan the code below)
and Zelle (use my email address).
BONUS: All purchases receive an 8X10 print of GHOST FEET (see blue heron image below).
If you have any questions, please hit reply or reach out. I’m here for you and excited to sell some art! Thirteen pieces of art (below) are for sale during this event. I have not included all of my available art in this listing, so let me know if you’ve seen a piece of art on my socials, on my website, or in Notes that are not listed here. Lastly, please share this post if buying art isn’t in your budget. I look forward to hearing from you either way! xo

Testimonials
Maureen’s artistic abilities continue to expand and evolve. She brings your vision to the canvas with incredible artistry and creativity. Her pieces breathe life into my own creative space. I highly recommend her!

I have had the pleasure of working with Maureen on several commissioned pieces. Her keen intuition and ability to connect are imparted dynamically, emotionally, and beautifully in her artwork. Her knowledge is broad-based, and the effort she puts into her projects is beyond comparable!
~ Lesley C.
Maureen C. Berry is a talented and versatile artist. Because her watercolors are so striking, I was torn when selecting which would work best in my space. The two I purchased—one more abstract with an inspirational message woven organically into the design and one a sweet floral mini—have added so much to my home. Maureen is a delight to work with and patient beyond measure. My pieces arrived beautifully packaged and in perfect condition. I can’t recommend working with Maureen highly enough!
